IN THE YEAR 1893, ALOIS PAUL FOUNDED HIS CARTON-PRODUCING COMPANY IN EULAU IN THE SUDETENLAND. TOGETHER WITH HIS SON-IN-LAW, KARL KUNERT, HE SUCCEEDED IN BUILDING UP THE FAMILY COMPANY INTO A HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE. TO THIS DAY, THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT OF THESE TWO MEN REMAINS AN INTEGRAL ELEMENT OF THE KUNERT GROUP.
